I am not a winter girl. I teeter on the word “hate” when it comes to snow, cold, wind and the dark abyss that we live in for several months. Sometimes, it’s cute. Sometimes, snow falling onto pine trees that twinkle in the sun is mesmerizing. SOMETIMES it’s nice to sit inside with a cozy […]
Read the title of this blog post. Read it again. Winter outfits SO FAR. Because living in Toronto (or most places in Canada) winter isn’t close to over, and we have far more of it to endure. But with that, comes envisioning and creating cute winter outfits! If I’m being honest, winter is my least […]
November brought forth not only some beautiful fall weather but some of my most favourite outfits that I’ve worn all year. I felt doses of inspiration from so many places, combining old clothes with new ones and past ideas with current trends.

I emerged from the bedroom with a smile plastered to my face and shouted to Alex at the other end of the apartment, “I”M GOING TO HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!” And all at once, it was real. I became a part of the group to represent Swimco’s “feel good half naked” campaign. I became a Swimco #swimsuitmodel.
But this trip, with a new crew consisting of with Alex, myself, both of his brothers, my near sister in law and a friend, was really something special. The six of us settled into the cottage for a mini getaway of lakeside fun, sun and serenity on the beauty that is Loch Erne.
Though each week of this beautiful summer has given me many wonderful experiences, memories and things to be thankful for, this particular ‘weekly snap’ post is extra meaningful to me, as it’s almost entirely dedicated to my lovely little hometown of Kincardine Ontario.
