November Outfits

November brought forth not only some beautiful fall weather but some of my most favourite outfits that I’ve worn all year. I felt doses of inspiration from so many places, combining old clothes with new ones and past ideas with current trends. It was the most creative I’ve felt while planning outfits in a some time, and the best feeling while wearing the clothes, too.

Outfits are linked to what’s available and linked to something similar if it’s last season.

What’s your favourite outfit from my November fits? Would you create a new outfit, mixing pieces from different ones?

DRENCHED IN TRENCH

This was a gifted outfit from Princess Polly that I paired with a plain Zara tank and some basic Nike’s. Nothing says fall like being drenched in a trench.

TRENCH COAT – wearing a size 10

LEATHER PANTS – wearing a size 10

TANK TOP – no longer available but linked similar – wearing a size large

SHOES – Nike Sage Low’s in size 11 that I purchased from GOAT

GOLDEN HOUR GLOW

Everything about this shoot and outfit came together so perfectly for me. It wasn’t entirely planned. It was only just as golden hour started to creep in that I said “It’s a beautiful night. I have an outfit. Let’s go find some leaves” The leaves were right down the street. The sun glimmering behind them. And I recreated the outfit I had worn to a wedding earlier in the month, but didn’t get the opportunity to capture.

SWEATER – this sweater fits very oversized but I wanted it more fitted, so I am wearing a size small

SKIRT – wearing a size large

BOOTS – wearing a size 10

SOMETHING OLD & BORROWED

This outfit came together unexpectedly, and became one of my favourites quite quickly. I didn’t purchase anything new to create this outfit, which helped to remind me the value of shopping my own closet… and my fiancés. The skirt, top and boots are mine, but the blazer is borrowed. Sometimes menswear just does it better. Linked similar items since all of these ones are old.

SKIRT – wearing a size large

BRALETTE – this isn’t the exact one, but similar. I’m wearing a size large

BOOTS – my boots are from Zara last seaosn and have a bit of a chunkier sole, but these are similar

BLAZER – this was tough to find! The blazer I’m wearing is Calvin Klein and my fiancé bought it from a discount warehouse a few years ago. I linked a similar one. In roughly a size 44 R.

EUROPEAN GETAWAY

As soon as I pieced together this outfit, I knew I had to find a spot in Toronto that gave me *Europe Vibes* to match with it. Sitting there against the leaves in my patterned tights, trench coat and sunglasses, I convinced myself I was in Paris, and put forth major Parisian attitude.

TRENCH COAT – wearing a size 10

SKIRT – wearing a size 10

SWEATER – last season but linked similar – wearing a size medium

TIGHTS – wearing a size E

PLAID PARTY

By now I’m sure you’re noticing that I wear these boots a lot, and chunky sweaters are a wardrobe staple in the fall. I threw this outfit together in about a minute when I was trying to get out of the apartment before the sun sets at it’s God awful early hour. And sometimes an outfit least planned, is an outfit most loved. I felt very good in this look!

SHACKET – I just bought this shacket this season from Dynamite and I am utterly shocked that they no longer carry it! I linked the same style in plain white. But the plaid one is nowhere to be found.

LEGGINGS – I purchased these leggings last year from Joe Fresh (wearing a size large). This year, apparently they don’t come in brown!!!! Outrageous. But here is a somewhat similar pair that does come in brown

SWEATER – wore this in a previous outfit but here’s the link again. Wearing a size large

BOOTS – again, last season, linked similar
